Nicholas Moore

I am a health AI researcher, operator, and investor focused on how long-horizon healthcare data can be used to build, evaluate, and improve AI systems for medicine. My work is especially focused on making these systems useful in complex, real-world healthcare environments, including diverse and resource-constrained settings around the world.

I was co-founder and Head of Growth at Helium Health, one of the largest healthcare technology companies across Sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East. The company was backed by over $50M in capital from global investors including Tencent and Y Combinator, and worked extensively with organizations such as the Gates Foundation, the Global Fund, and the World Bank.

I am also the founder of Transcend Venture Partners, which has made investments across a range of sectors, including food waste, climate, green technology, and other applied technology markets.

I am currently co-founder and Head of Partnerships at Meridian Intelligence, where I work at the intersection of healthcare data, AI evaluation, and real-world deployment. My current work explores the development, evaluation, and safe deployment of AI systems in healthcare and other complex environments.

I hold an undergraduate degree from Emory University in Interdisciplinary Studies.
